Bye bye Archive Gallery

When I launched my new website, I decided to curate the art that was shown here. That's why there were only three collections in my Gallery: the Baby Dolls, Oral Fixation, and an Archive.

I never intended to keep the Archive forever. It was just a place to put some miscellaneous artwork that didn't have a specific theme.

Now, I'm ready to say 'bye bye' to the Archive Gallery to make room for some of the newer art I've made over the last year or so. And by "now" I mean I got rid of it months ago, I'm not even sure when at this point, but never posted this blog.

I also have plans for new collections, so stay tuned!

Below is a little tribute to the Archive Gallery - so this art isn't really lost. I have a tag on this blog called 'archive art' so in future you can still find older work in addition to what's in the gallery.

What's coming up?

I'm back into a daily drawing challenge (MerMay) so you can see that over on Instagram. In terms of "proper" art, I have a sketch going and outlines at least partially prepared for more sketches and paintings.

I realised I haven't painted in a while, just got a bit busy with sketching (and life) but I'm happy that I'm still making something. I'm itching to have at least one painting project going on in the background - I miss the progress on my last one and want to feel that again. So, I'll likely get something started in the next couple weeks.
